Key responsibilities:

- Act as GMP raw material release officer
- Set specifications, perform assessments of testing requirements and organize /supervise the analytical testing (internally and externally) of raw materials
- Support implementation and technical strategy projects, e.g. implementation of Raman-, Near InfraRed Spectroscopy for identification of incoming goods in frame of QC RAW Material expansion
- Liaise with partner units within the Lonza Drug Product network as well as external partners to ensure on-time delivery of team’s assignments
- Ensure effective use of resources with regards to time, personnel, equipment, material and maintenance / qualification of equipment
- Provide guidance and supervision for method implementation/validation as well as corresponding troubleshooting
- Author, review and authorize QC documentation related to sampling/testing (or other activities) of raw materials under cGMP regulations
- Lead investigations related to packaging
- and raw materials internally and with external partners
- Initiate, review and approve quality records (Deviations, Change requests, Investigations etc.) as required

Key requirements:

- Academical degree or apprenticeship in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field
- Working experience in analytical development and/or quality control within pharmaceutical industries and cGMP controlled environment
- Excellent working knowledge in relevant analytical techniques - specifically incoming raw material testing
- Very good communication skills with excellent command of English both written and spoken, German business fluency is strongly preferred
- Capability to work independently and in a dynamic & fast-paced project environment
