For our client based in Bern, we search a Research Development & Sciences (m/w/d).

**Background**:
CSL Behring AG in Bern specializes in the production of drugs for the treatment of immune deficiency states and immune function disorders, as well as drugs for rhesus prophylaxis and albumin solutions for shock and burn victims. CSL Behring AG's production facilities are licensed by the Swiss health authorities and by the US
FDA. Annually, therapeutically important proteins are isolated from more than six million liters of human plasma according to the strictest safety and quality standards and processed into drugs. CSL Behring AG products are distributed worldwide.

Aufgaben

**Task and Responsibilities**:
The holder of this position will be working predominantly in the lab (90%) on-site with limited to no possibility to work remotely.

Qualifikation

Master's degree in a scientific discipline, preferably Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Chemistry. Experience in the industry is a plus

**Support in various projects related to**:

- Protein purification process development and improvement
- Development of scale-down models
- Evaluation of new technologies

Statistical data evaluation

Master /Bsc degree in a scientific discipline, preferably Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Chemistry. Experience in the industry is a plus.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Experience in preparative protein purification technologies

Root Cause Analysis, etc.
- Planning, execution and evaluation of experimental laboratory work
- Teamwork-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Protein purification
- DoE, Statistics experience
- Process simulations/modeling
- Work experience in an industrial environment
- Open mindset

**Work hours**:

- 41 h./ Week
