The Director Global MSAT Small Molecules will be expected to facilitate and further develop our global MSAT network within the Small Molecules division with the aim of driving operational performance, technological expertise and innovation thorough the entire network.

Key responsibilities:

- Facilitate the development of an MSAT Technology Platform that has the skills, systems and processes to quickly resolve the attendant challenges that will accompany the initial phases of our New Business model.
- Support the development of new Manufacturing Centres for Drug Product and Drug Substance
- Ensure reliability and effectiveness of global Small Molecules Technology Transfer Process
- Management of existing and new technology platforms over all Small Molecule Operational Units
- Oversee the maintenance and improvement of Lonza Small Molecule’s commercial manufacturing success rates across all sites

Key requirements:

- Strong track record in building and successfully managing teams responsible for development, technology transfer, and commercial support of small molecule CMO.
- Strong knowledge of GMP compliance, regulations and manufacturing operations as relates to small molecule manufacturing.
- Understanding of small molecule Drug Substance and Drug Product manufacturing operations and associated automation technologies.
