Key Account Manager, Switzerland

General Description:
Under the direction of the Country Manager Switzerland this individual will be responsible for maximizing BeiGene's products in the served territory. The Key Account Manager (KAM) implements the marketing strategy in the area and is responsible for achieving defined sales targets within an agreed expense budget. In addition, the KAM supports and advises the key account customers in the territory in an appreciative, open-minded and honest manner.
Essential Functions of the job:
- Building a Beigene image/brand and awareness for our company and our products in the hemato-oncology market in the served area
- Scientific expert advice and support of opinion leaders and medical hemato-oncologists in hospitals and PBO´s
- Responsibility for the regional sales goals and qualitative performance parameters, as agreed with the Country Manager
Organization and execution of local symposia and workshops with the key customers
- Participation and customer care in local, national, and international meetings and symposia
- Ensure compliance within all activities to maintain the highest standards of patients focused ethical conduct in line with our values.
- Consistently ensure operating in accordance with BeiGene´s Standards of conduct and all applicable local laws and regulations.
**Qualifications**:
- Life science degree (university, college) or equivalent professional experience
- Several years of qualified work experience as commercial representative in the hemato-oncology market
- Scientific education and experiences in this or similar positions
- Specific knowledge in hematology-oncology and distinct knowledge in project management
- Strong identification with BeiGene´s values and loyalty to the company
- Willingness to learning and continuously developing (trainings and coachings)
- Demonstrated success in a small but fast growing, entrepreneurial commercial environment.
- Making things happen: has the right level of implementation skills
- Marketing and commercial-oriented thinking and working
- Excellent reliable contacts with opinion leaders in the relevant indications (special knowledge in the field of Lymphomas) is desirable
- Knowledge of the distribution structures and distribution channels of drugs

Computer Skills: Standard Computer Skills required (MS Office)
Other Qualifications: Fluency in both verbal and written English and the country language; any other major European language of advantage
Travel: Approximately 60% of time
Education Required:
University undergraduate degree in science or business preferred; higher qualifications (MD, PhD, MBA) advantageous.
