Human by nature.**Head of Local & Regional Sales Europe - Consumer Products - Switzerland - Your future position?**
- A key member of our Consumer Products Fragrances business, the 'Head of L&R Sales - Europe' builds and drives the execution of the commercial strategy for the Local & Regional business across Europe (incl. Russia, Turkey, Israel, and Central Asia).- You will be integral to defining the business strategy while giving a platform to the regional L&R Sales and marketing teams to implement and deliver the strategy, helping to achieve Givaudan's purpose and commercial objectives.- Based in either Kemptthal (Zurich) or Vernier (Geneva), the role reports to the Regional Head of Consumer Products WEE and offers excellent opportunities for both personal and professional development.**Your core responsibilities will be to**:

- Grow Givaudan business across the scope of L&R Europe by managing top and bottom lines
- Manage Country (Area) Managers/Directors and company representatives within L&R Europe, create a performing environment with motivated accomplished individuals
- Lead and develop L&R Sales and Marketing team, including training, Talent Management, and succession planning of Country (Area) Managers/Directors and other key team members.
- Develop relationships with senior Level owners and management at key accounts
- Build, communicate and implement a growth strategy for L&R Europe; approve the strategic plans for key accounts in the area of responsibility; identify and create opportunities for Givaudan to participate in core lists of all strategic accounts
- Drive internal efforts to execute strategy, collaborating with Regional Management, Creative Fragrance Management, Perfumery, Marketing, Consumer Research, Applications and Technology, ensuring the most efficient management of Givaudan resources, setting priorities based on profitability analysis
- Monitor competitor activity
- Monitor Sales and Gross Profit Margin (including KPIs and budget) as well as expense budget, taking corrective actions when necessary to ensure business goals are achieved
- Support Country Managers/Directors in managing pricing negotiations within specific geographic area, in accordance with company guidelines
- Ensure implementation of negotiated pricing agreements; support Customer Care in managing and optimising Supply Chain; support Credit Management in collecting receivables

- University degree (MBA preferred)
- 12-15 years' commercial track record on major accounts or significant L&R customer scope
- 7+ years of experience in people management and people development experience
- Strategic understanding of industry and sales landscape by segment, category, or specific geographic area, including competitive environment
- Strong business analytical skills: sales, pipeline, and margin monitoring & management, pricing analytics; understanding of P&L and the various scenarios encountered that affect it
- Ability to work successfully with teams and customers across boarders and cultures
- Builds high performing teams and identifies / retains talent within and outside industry
- Understanding of current fragrance science, technical trends and developments and related sciences, as well as technical issues related to relevant product categories
- Verbal and written command of English (additional European languages are a significant plus)
