**Internship in Biologics Drug Product Development**:

**About the role**

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Master Student or recent postgraduate in a pharmaceutical sciences-related field (e.g., pharmacy, biology, chemistry, biotechnology), preferably with general experience and knowledge in biologic / protein products.
We offer a 6-9-month Internship in our Biologics Drug Product Development department in Basel (Switzerland), supporting an innovative project in the context of novel formulations for monoclonal antibodies.
Preferred start date: asap
Duration: 6-9 months
Key responsibilities
- Develop and design an extraction procedure for protein suspensions
- Produce and characterize protein suspensions in laboratory scale by various production techniques
- Optimize rheology of protein suspensions by addition of (novel) excipients
- Provide raw data, documentation and present results in project team meetings
- Be involved in scientific discussions with multiple teams (e.g., analytics, particle laboratory, packaging & device experts)
- Work in close collaboration with experienced team members, external technology partner as well as the internal particle laboratory

**Role Requirements**

Essential requirements:

- Master student or recent graduate in a related field (e.g., pharmaceutical sciences, biology, chemistry, biotechnology, etc.) with general experience and knowledge in biologic / protein products
- Good knowledge of English (oral and written)
- Good knowledge of laboratory and/or technical tools for biologic drug product development
- Interest in problem-solving and optimization strategies
