Banking Operations is a strategic Avaloq service line providing Banking Operations outsourcing services to banks. We are organized as a global Business Area, running state-of-the art Backoffice services with industry leading automation, quality, and risk standards. Our highly skilled and experienced staff are covering the full suite of services including Securities, Payments, Corporate Actions and Tax, to name a few.

In this role, you are reporting to the Banking Operations Head of Securities Operation. Our mission is to provide excellent services for our clients, meet the KPI designed and generate ideas to streamline the processes.

**Your key tasks**

We are looking for a Team Head to oversee the Asset Masterdata in Switzerland and Germany.
- Managing, organizing, overseeing Asset Masterdata Team
- Develop your people through inspiring leadership, foster a culture of openness and excellence including cross collaboration and build a strong talent pipeline.
- Support in the development and implementation of technical improvements of Avaloq's core banking platform, identify possible improvement.
- Work with internal stakeholders to further improve the Masterdata services as well as the customer satisfaction, supporting change and implementing it in daily processes with impacts on the team.
- Ensure an efficient and high-quality service delivery for your team, in line with the agreed Service Level Agreements.
- Update and enhance the financial instruments Masterfile.
- Manage prices for client’s financial instruments set, interacting with data providers, where required.
- Follow up with customers, data providers or other internal business units in the company in relation to financial instruments.

**Qualifications**
- Professional experience within the financial services industry.
- Good communication with a process-orientation and ability to understand complex situations.
- Strong operational risk understanding.
- Pro-active and can-do attitude with a high level of integrity and reliability.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn.
- Fluent in English.

**It would be a real bonus if you have**
- German language
- Work experience in Asset Masterdata processing.
- Deep understanding of the interconnection between the various back-office activities.
- Practical user knowledge of Avaloq's Banking Core System.
- Familiar with SIX FI and WM Datenservice as data provider.
