**Key responsibilities**:

- Carry out analytical studies using the available Forensic Chemistry technologies (e.g., but not limited to: FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, Micro CT, SEM/ EDX) to support the needs of Lonza's customers and Operation Sites
- Support analytical studies for sub-visible particles characterization using technologies such as, Micro-Flow Imaging, Coulter Counter, Nano Tracking Analysis
- Contribute to design and qualification of visual inspection training kits
- Be part of innovative and technical projects, evaluate and implement new technologies
- Maintain instruments in alignment with current best practices and regulations

**Key requirements**:

- A degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field
- Experience as Scientist the pharmaceutical or chemical industry, with strong focus on spectroscopy and imaging techniques
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent ability to interpret complex analytical data
- Good communication skills
- English written and spoken is a, German or other languages is a plus
