For our Search & Evaluation team based at our Headquarters in Lausanne, we are looking for a

**Scientific Fellow Evaluation - Oncology (6 months internship)**

Join our Evaluation team and be at the forefront of our development strategy by conducting the scientific evaluation of new opportunities for a potential entry in our oncology pipeline. In this role, you will evaluate new pipeline opportunities by conducting a scientific analysis and presenting recommendations to the S&E team, in view of pursuing the evaluation of the presented programs.

Coached by a team of dynamic experts, you will have a unique opportunity to be exposed to worldwide innovative science and critical strategic decisions at the initiation of the research and development of key assets for the company.

**Your responsibilities will be but not limited to**:

- Evaluate new opportunities in Oncology based on scientific and strategic criteria provided by the Director Search & Evaluation Oncology;
- Present the evaluated new opportunities at weekly triage meetings and propose positive, negative or alternative recommendations on the discussed programs;
- Elaborate the scientific questions to be discussed with the potential external partner and participate in the programs discussions with our partners;
- Review the literature and the competitive landscape of targets of interest discussed at triage.
- Complete the information provided by the potential partners by searching additional insights in internal and external databases.

**Requirements**:

- Advanced University degree in Cancer Research (PhD or equivalent)
- First working experience in pharma/biotech is an asset;
- Proficient in desk-research activities with excellent ability to synthetize
- Demonstrates exceptional resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal), French is a plus
- Outgoing personality and good communication skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proactive mindset, with good ability to anticipate issues and propose solutions
- Willingness to learn and curiosity
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced and changing environment
