Business Development Manager “high Speed”

We are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager, who will be responsible to identify and present relevant trends in the market, developing new business opportunities, and supporting the business in strategy and cooperation aspects. In this role, you will report to the global product line manager. You recognize opportunities beyond the current scope and formulate and pursue respective initiatives. **Responsibilities**:
Strategy.
- Contribute to the strategy of the product group “High Speed” through the analysis and identification of markets and customer segments.
- Evaluate opportunities for inorganic growth.
- Develop an acquisition and partnership funnel as well as the prioritization and assessment of the targets.
- Identify partnership/cooperation opportunities, and develop respective business cases.
Organic development projects.
- Identify, propose, structure, and implement organic growth projects/initiatives in areas and/or technologies adjacent to current the business.
- Scout, analyze, propose and implement new business models for existing and new businesses.
Business intelligence.
- Gather industry insights, systematically analyze and monitor market dynamics and update market intelligence for new business opportunities and the annual update of the Product Market Strategy.
- Own product group internal market intelligence data.
Your background
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Conceptional and analytical thinking, result orientation, collaboration as well as communication skills.
- Experience in strategy and business development and/or project management and/or business model and market analysis.
- Willingness to learn about the market and technical aspects of the business.
- Curious self-starter with the ability to drive topics and initiatives to success at the senior management level while creating buy-in in the organization.
- Self-motivated and resilient professional, striving for excellence and ready to do the extra mile.
- Excellent English skills, both written and verbal, German is an asset.
