Strategic Sourcing Manager

For our client, a leading company in the Telecommunications field, we are currently looking for a **Strategic Sourcing Manager**

**Background**:
As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will have a key function and responsibilities in Procurement for a wide range of commodities, especially within the area of Indirect Services: People Services, supporting HR stakeholder. You can work independently and will drive your own projects, but also will be able to use the synergies/buying power from Liberty Global Group Procurement Team.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Sourcing of products and services for Indirect area
- Prepare and manage tenders (RFI, RFQ, RFP) in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and align the technical, legal, and commercial specifications.
- Analyze and evaluate proposals and offers of the tenderers, negotiate commercial agreements in line with procurement processes and compliant with local and corporate standards, policies, and processes.
- Draft and negotiate frame contracts, purchasing and service agreements, and other commercial agreements.
- Creating and co-develop short-, medium
- and long-term plans for the development of the category.
- Manage end-to-end projects and working together with different business Stakeholders, aligning strategy, plans and priorities.
- Define pricing models by considering all relevant cost elements (TCO), optimization of cost structures to gain substantial values for the organisation.
- Building and driving relationships with key vendors to improve pricing and quality of services.
- Become the trusted advisor for all Procurement matters within the company.
- Benchmark systematically cost and delivery performance, do risk management of international and local providers, means proactive supplier management across different products and services resp. Region

**Your Profile**:

- 4+ years or more of experience in Strategic Procurement
- Experience in working in cross functional and matrix teams
- Strong sourcing experience in in Indirect services
- Knowledge of procurement systems and tools such as Ariba p2p, e-Sourcing, SAP
- Good Project Management skills
- Analytical mind with strategic ability
- Proven success in delivering competitive advantage to the business and in leading sourcing projects
- Understanding of the market and suppliers of the assigned products and services
- Sound data analytical skills and ability to derive actionable insights/conclusions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Languages: Fluency (oral & written) in English, German a plus
