Our client is a Swiss International Engineering and Construction development company in the fields of infrastructure and energy with aspirations to grow as an international developer, investor and contractor for projects in strategically selected high growth infrastructure markets.

Based in Zurich, they are looking for a **Commercial DIRECTOR** (M/W)

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

- Leading the Project Delivery and Commercial teams.
- Contributing to the Business Development team in creating strategies for new projects and markets.
- Helping in the preparation of tenders, overseeing cost estimation, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and partners.
- Formulating procurement strategy and spearheading procurement activities for Tender Preparation and Project Delivery.
- Driving and supporting contracts preparation and administration throughout all phases of the infrastructure assets’ lifecycle.
- Assisting and supervising project finance processes for the issuance of bonds and letters of guarantees as well as managing relationships with banks and ECAs.
- Cultivating and sustaining strong client relationships whilst addressing any client concerns/ queries to assist the team in delivering the project programmes.
- Checking cost and progress of ongoing projects with the assistance of Planning and Control team.
- Attending meetings and discussions with other project stakeholders such as client agents, funding partners, or local authority representatives.
- Dealing with external sub-consultants and sub-contractors, determining suitable levels of resource and enforcing the contractual process correctly apportioning risk to the correct area of the supply chain.
- Maintaining/ Enhancing financial controls regarding invoicing/ revenue recognition and cash collection by project delivery teams.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference will be given to applicants with construction site experience, as well as experience in transport, renewables or water projects.

Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering or related field
