VirtaMed AG is an established company with an interdisciplinary background in engineering and medicine, and a winner of multiple national and international awards. We develop, produce, and distribute high-fidelity virtual reality/augmented reality simulators for the education of doctors and medical personnel. Similar to how pilots use flight simulators for training, we enable medical personnel to practice and gain experience in virtual reality and not just on the patient. An exciting opportunity now exists for a "**Service & Support Technician" **to join our growing organization. This position in our Service & Support Team is available immediately and reports to the Head of Service & Support. **Your Work** Your days will look very different as you help us with a wide range of tasks, such as: - You give customer satisfaction a public face, providing technical support to our global customers, and doing whatever it takes to keep their simulators running - Your repair broken parts of our simulators in-house across the entire product portfolio and you take care of remote diagnosing problems and performing updates - You keep our sales fleet organized, efficient, and updated for customer conferences and demos - You travel worldwide to install and maintain our simulators in training centers and hospitals (up to 10% of your working time) - You work closely with our Sales and Training & Education team to ensure that customers are fully trained and have the simulators set up according to their needs - You maintain and update the current documentation and create repair manuals and procedures - You ensure that our “Made in Switzerland” simulators are not only famous for their quality but also for the global first-class service **Your profile** You enjoy doing the above type of work and you are an open person who likes it when things run smoothly: - **Experience**: You are an experienced technician (2+ years of work with mechatronic products) with at least one year of experience in international Service & Support. You are skilled in technical troubleshooting and product repairing and you have advanced knowledge of software and the computer world in general - **Passion**: You have proven your interest and skills for both software and hardware technology; you enjoy interacting remotely and personally with customers - **Attitude**: You are a pragmatic, flexible, and solution-oriented person, with a “can-do” mindset and high customer orientation. You enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-growing company and don’t mind going the extra mile when needed i.e. traveling to the customer site at short notice. You enjoy setting, reaching, and celebrating key milestones and events. - **Languages**: You are fluent in English, both spoken and written (minimum level C1); German and any other language is a plus
