Novamem AG, based in Schlieren ZH, is a spin-off from ETH Zurich and a leading manufacturer of membranes and filters made from high-performance polymers. With our revolutionary slash/technology, we are setting new standards in water treatment and in the development of separators for renewable energy applications. We are looking to strengthen our team as of or by arrangement.

Lab technician 80-100% (m/f/d)

What you can expect:

  • You will be an essential part of our development team – no day is like the other
  • Your responsibilities will include conducting one-step syntheses on a laboratory or pilot scale and performing water or membrane characterisation
  • You will independently carry out analyses to monitor operations in our production laboratory.
  • You will be jointly responsible for maintaining the analytical process in the laboratory, including maintaining the functionality of the analysers and laboratory equipment.
  • Your voice is important - that's why you regularly summarise your findings and contribute them to our various R&D teams.

What you bring:

  • A completed apprenticeship in the chemical sector, laboratory technician/chemical technician EFZ
  • You actively look for solutions and want to change the future in the water and energy sector
  • You know what you are doing - your safety and quality awareness is therefore pronounced. Nevertheless, you are willing to learn new things
  • You are confident in German (written and spoken), but can also express yourself in English

  • You are quick to work independently, team-orientated, precise, motivated and reliablend
  • You are very interested in new things
