Mechatronics Technician for Robotics

**Job Description** Your responsibilities**

In this position, you will you the BE-CEM group which provides robotic services for remote maintenance for the whole CERN accelerator complex.

We are looking for a Mechatronics technician to support the robotic hardware platform and robotic interventions.
You will:

- Be involved in maintenance and development activities;
- Provide support for the operation of the robotic hardware platform as well as robotic interventions.

**Your profile**

**Skills**:

- Experience in mechatronics systems;
- Experience with integration and testing of actuators and sensors;
- Interest in conception and cabling electrical diagrams;
- Fluent in English.

Eligibility criteria:

- You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
- You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
- Applicants with a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree are not eligible.

Contract duration: 24 months, with a possible extension up to 36 months maximum.
