In this role you will be responsible to lead the continuous improvement and harmonization of Information security processes governance by supporting security strategy coordination and driving security project portfolio to deliver business value, overseeing consistent communication and reporting procedures to enable stakeholder engagement and proactively managing interfaces within information security to enable consistent and sustainable service delivery standards. Accountable for effectiveness & cross-departmental coordination of information security services, promote and communicate the vision and outcomes of the InfoSec Service, and maximize associated benefits.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Ensures alignment of portfolios and programs to security strategy, through strategic and/or periodic planning and reviews
- Establishes effective governance for portfolios and programs
- Establish information security service management standards to ensures optimal service effectiveness and financial performance
- Accountability for effectiveness & cross-departmental coordination of security services.
- Ensures that InfoSec services are aligned with IS service management framework and consistent with best practises like ITIL
- Establishes a metrics and reporting program and ensures proper dashboards and reports for effective consumption by various leadership levels.
- Leading the Global Department
- Warranting business value consistently impacting service quality via the delivery engine of insights & analytics.
- Developing and maintaining a global team of security experts, ensuring reliable and modern services and solutions are delivered to the business.
- Promoting and communicating the vision and outcomes of the InfoSec Service.
- Maximizing associated benefits.
- Ensuring efficient escalation layers, narrowing the potential negative business impacts.
- Together with key stakeholders defining the improvement opportunities for the following strategic areas: cost/budget, resources required, schedules.
**Your background**:
- Bachelors or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Business Engineering, Management, Information Security, Risk Management or equivalent
- 10+ years combined IT, cyber/information security, risk, audit, compliance, with increasing responsibility
- 5+ years in a department lead role, preferably with at least 2 of those years overseeing other managers
- Experience creating and maintaining security requirements, guidelines, and procedure documents
- Experience in leading or sponsoring implementation of security programs within large organizations
- Experience developing and implementing process-based security processes, and capabilities
- Experience in engaging with and managing vendors responsible for implement-ing processes and/or IT solutions
