**Vacancy**:Head Global Liquidity & ALM - Banking (f/m/x)**:

- We are looking for a **Head Global Liquidity & ALM** for our client, an International Bank in **Zürich**. For this position, the employee in question will work directly for our client. The support, placement and all of our additional services are free of charge for you as the applicant.

**Your Responsibilities as** **Head Global Liquidity & ALM - Banking (f/m/x)**
- Develop a forward-looking treasury strategy that aligns with the bank's overarching business goals and global presence
- Collaborate with the executive team to define treasury's role in Group's balance sheet management especially from the perspective of market & liquidity risk and debt securities investments.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the Group and Parent's balance sheet, taking into account various assets and liabilities, including loans, deposits, investments, and borrowings.
- Ensure the Group and Parent entity maintains sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations and regulatory requirements. This includes monitoring cash flows, managing liquidity buffers, and designing contingency funding plans.
- Assess and manage interest rate risk by analyzing the Group and Parent's exposure to changes in interest rates. Implement hedging strategies to mitigate this risk.
- Develop and maintain a robust FTP framework to allocate costs and revenues across various business units based on their contribution to the balance sheet.
- Utilize advanced modelling techniques to project future asset and liability profile along with undertaking scenarios analysis.
- Stay at the forefront of evolving financial regulations globally and ensure the bank's adherence to these regulations. Establish a culture of compliance within the treasury department and coordinate regulatory reporting.
- Optimize the allocation of capital resources across business units and geographies, considering risk-adjusted returns. Conduct regular capital stress testing and scenario analysis to inform allocation decisions.
- Collaborate with foreign treasuries and other departments, including risk management, finance, and lending, to align ALM strategies with overall bank objectives and ensure consistency in global asset liability management practices.
- Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management, including the Head of Treasury and Capital Markets and ALCO members, to support decision-making and ensure transparency regarding the bank's ALM activities.
- Conduct economic research and assess financial market conditions to anticipate potential impacts on the bank's asset and liability positions.

**Your Qualification and Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA required
- Extensive experience in the Bank's Treasury, preferably in a multinational bank. Treasury experience in markets where the Group's balance sheet is concentrated (PK and UAE) is mandatory.
- Expertise in Asset Liability Management, International Bond Portfolio Management, and managing market risks via off-balance sheet hedging solutions like derivatives.
- Extensive experience in market and liquidity risk management
- Expertise in global financial markets, risk management, and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of Treasury Relationship Documentation: Strong knowledge of treasury relationship documentation such as GMRA, ISDA, and CSA is required
- Fluent in German and English
