We are currently recruiting for a Director Strategic Marketing.
Within this role you will be responsible for the strategic marketing of drug product early phase clinical to commercial solutions. The main purpose of the role is to create marketing plans and go to market strategies, in close collaboration with stakeholders in the respective businesses and functions (e.g. CD, Sales, marketing communication and Market Intelligence, Strategy group etc.). The Strategic Marketing Director will have budget responsibility for all marketing activities required to support the growth business (in alignment with his/her manager). A key responsibility of the role is to enable and support sales growth of DPS and assure cross-functional alignment within all relevant functions and businesses.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Provide strategic input to growth projects to define the opportunity for DPS, the target customer segments for a given project, the value proposition, and the underlying business plan/forecast
- Collaborate with Central Marketing to develop and execute the tactical plan to create market awareness, lead and demand generation through a combination of traditional and digital channels.
- Drive the development of new and updating of existing, sales and offering collateral.
- Plan (in close collaboration with Head of Commercial Development and Central marketing), manage and track the marketing budget for the DPS business unit.
- Develop excellent relationships and work in close collaboration within various functions within the business unit and across the division to drive success in meetings the objectives.
**Key requirements**:
- Translates BU strategy into critical success factors and creates breakthrough implementation plans
- Comfortable with ambiguity, analytical, enterprising
- Leads and drives the identification of customer and market needs using data, research and customer relationships
- Willingness to be held accountable, proven history of meeting deliverables, ability to positively influence and motivate others
- Innately collaborative, excellent communication skills both written and oral
