**Position Overview**

We're seeking a dynamic Product Director at Axelera.ai to spearhead our product initiatives. As leader of our product team, you'll orchestrate a product vision that aligns with business objectives and market dynamics, while nurturing a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and diversity of thought. Your leadership will be instrumental in propelling our products to new heights, driving growth, and solidifying our position as trailblazers in the AI semiconductor industry. Your responsibilities will include the definition of hardware and software product requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Market and Customer Insight Gathering**:
Identify customer and market needs, focusing on usability, pricing, and performance for AI processing units, acceleration cards, AI systems, and software stacks.

Gather and share internally partner and customer feedback to all relevant stakeholders.
- **Market Needs Analysis and Communication**:
Analyse market demands and effectively communicate these needs to the R&D, engineering, and software development teams.

Conduct benchmarking of Axelera AI technology and product specifications against competitors.
- **Product Value Proposition and Strategy**:
Develop and articulate Axelera's unique product value proposition.

Formulate and execute product marketing strategies, including pricing and market penetration tactics.
- **Product Representation and Documentation**:
Design and deliver product presentations at internal and external events, to customers, and investors.

Collaborate with marketing and R&D teams to produce comprehensive product documentation.
- **Product Development Support**:
Assist in creating a product kit for rapid adoption, engaging key stakeholders.

Contribute to the definition and implementation of the product and technology roadmap.
- **Competitive Analysis and Market Research**:
Perform in-depth analysis of competitors, including company size, funding, technology, products, valuation, and revenue.

Stay informed about current and future Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Serviceable Available Market (SAM) trends.
- **Innovation and Strategy Development**:
Identify emerging trends and formulate strategies to capitalize on new product opportunities.

Collaborate closely with R&D to ensure product feasibility and feature integration.
- **Partnership Development**:
Seek and evaluate potential hardware and software strategic partners and customers.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**:
Work closely with the Marketing Director and CEO to develop marketing communication plans and materials.

Actively participate in identifying new market segments and strategies for engagement.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Proven track record in top-tier strategy consulting, preferably with a focus on product strategy or development.
- **Product Management**: Hands-on experience in product development, with a strong understanding of the product lifecycle.
- **Leadership**: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- **Strategic Thinking**: Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
