Overview:
A leading global insurance company is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Lines Underwriter to join their team in Zurich. In this role, you will be responsible for underwriting and managing a portfolio of D&O, Professional Indemnity or Financial Institutions lines of business. You will be working with a team of professionals to identify and assess risks, develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients, and provide innovative solutions to meet the needs of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Underwrite and manage a portfolio of D&O, Professional Indemnity or Financial Institutions lines of business
- Analyze and assess risks, including financial analysis and legal reviews
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients
- Negotiate and structure insurance programs
- Provide technical expertise and support to the team
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the client experience
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

**Requirements**:

- Strong and proven insurance technical experience in lead business in the Swiss Commercial D&O, PI or FI market
- Strong network in Swiss Financial Lines market
- Has a proven track record in delivering results
- Has a strong knowledge of underwriting concepts, practices and procedures
- Strong verbal, negotiation, sales, marketing and communication skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Timely, accurate and able to prioritise
- Demonstrates strong communication skills
- Demonstrates initiative and drive
- Excellent team player
- Flexibility of hours and possibility of travel (Switzerland and international) may be required
