Junior Underwriter

**Vacancy**:Junior Underwriter - Reinsurance (f/m/x)**:

- We are looking for a** Junior** **Underwriter **specialized **in P&C **for our client, a successful Reinsurance company based in Zürich. For this position, the employee in question will work directly for our client. Despite the Covid-19 situation, our customer is currently looking for motivated employees (f/m/x). **Your Responsibilities as** **Junior Underwriter - Reinsurance (f/m/x)**
- Technically assess treaty accounts / structures using natural catastrophe model results and statistical tools
- Handling the full process of underwriting and monitoring the existing proportional and non-proportional treaty business within your defined responsibilities
- Ensure underwriting excellence from technical pricing to contract wording
- Close cooperation with Pricing Actuaries and Specialty Lines Underwriters
- Monitoring and optimizing the reinsurance capacity consumption

**Your Qualification and Skills**
- University degree preferably in Mathematics / Statistics, Science, Economics, Finance or relevant insurance qualifications
- At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in treaty reinsurance
- Strong interest in catastrophe insurance and aspiration of career development in treaty underwriting field
- Good negotiating skills and assertiveness, particularly when dealing with brokers
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
