Oliver James is on the lookout for an experienced QA Automation Lead to coordinate multiple teams in a dynamic production environment. In this role, you will be ensuring that the product and platform meet the necessary high-quality standards before being released to the customers. This platform delivers thousands of virtual events to over 2 million users throughout the year, so high levels of accountability is required.

**Role**: QA Automation Lead

**Location**: Zurich - Hybrid

**Salary**: Above market average

**The Responsibilities**
- Lead a team of QA engineers.
- Develop test plans and cases.
- Identify risks and appropriate test coverage to validate new features and regression.
- Ensure team follows good testing practices to achieve best quality level.
- Create, maintain, and improve load-testing automation scripts.
- Deliver test reports and results to the team.
- Possess a deep understanding of the product and business to assess platform performance when used by customers.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to plan testing and releases according to sprint plans and roadmap.
- Continuously enhance QA processes to improve stability and quality of product releases delivered to over 2 million users annually.
- Use data to identify product areas that require more testing or specific tests and cycles
- Exhibit creativity and take initiative to enhance product test coverage and methodologies

**The Requirements**
- 2-3 years of management experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in designing and writing QA automation.
- Experience managing and scaling a multi-disciplined QA team.
- Hands-on experience building automated testing capabilities using recent technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in testing methodologies and familiarity with standard QA and development tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in writing scripts, such as Python and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks, preferably Scrum.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
