IQVIA’s newly formed global public health team is looking for an experienced principal consultant with an ability to combine expertise from different areas of human data science to bring about new solutions and innovative partnerships to advance global health.
You will join a high profile, talented and fast paced team where you will work together with IQVIA experts in all fields of human data science, from clinical R&D through real world data analytics to strategy consulting, with the objective to combine these capabilities for global health projects.
**Your missions**:
As a Principal, you will be responsible for developing and leading successful projects by:
- Taking an active role in new business & project development, identifying needs of both biopharma companies as well as global and local health agencies in the field of global health, including:
- access to healthcare and medicines in low
- and middle-income countries
- implementation of science and impact analytics
- digital health and care delivery
- Leading the development of proposals for new projects / opportunities in partnership with IQVIA Subject Matter Experts
- Providing expert guidance in global health needs to project teams, working as “translator” between the “languages” of biopharma and public health
- Exploring innovative public-private and consortium partnership opportunities to deliver global health impact
- Leading teams to execute high quality research, analytics and delivery.
- Managing project financials
- Supporting on initiatives around IQVIA’s broader global public health strategy
- Coaching project team members and supporting them to fulfill their personal objectives.
**Your profile**:
- Experience in global health organizations and/ or healthcare / life sciences and a track record of making an impact. Strong capability in managing projects and juggling priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high-quality outcomes.
- Experience of working in sizable / multi-disciplined teams and supervising / guiding junior team members.
- Experience of developing credible relationships with senior level managers and executives in the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the global health ecosystem
- Demonstrable analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, chairing meetings, workshop facilitation, business and report writing.
- Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques would be highly desirable.
- MA / MSc from a top university, preferably in a relevant and / or numerate
- A postgraduate qualification in life sciences or computer/ data science discipline is desirable although not essential.
- Extensive experience in global health or healthcare consulting / experience in life science sector industry.
- Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral); additional languages an advantage.
- A solid track record of extra-curricular achievement.
- A willingness and ability to travel.
