**Role Insight**

This is an exciting opportunity to work in Geneva. You will own the purchasing and the authentication process ensuring that quotes and authentication of watches are completed effectively and efficiently for customers. You will play an integral role within Watchfinder as you will work within strict policies and procedures, supporting both the UK Servicing Centre & EU Logistics Hub in maintaining the efficient movement of watches throughout the business.

This role requires a process-driven individual, who is led by customer experience and a team player who has a passion for the world of horology Working with the world’s leading watch brands, you will demonstrate the ability to withhold technical information easily and share an interest in learning about unique pieces.

**Duties will include, but not limited to**:
**Purchasing**
- Managing and booking appointments via our diary system for customers wanting to sell their watch.
- Processing and booking Incoming watches onto our internal ERP systems ensuring that all are accounted for and uploaded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Buying and negotiating prices of watches including part exchange to secure a deal with the best possible margin
- Understanding the stock control internal procedures, undertaking daily and monthly stock takes
- Manage the customer buying process from beginning to end, contact, appointment, conversion.
- Supporting the wider purchasing team with any administrative duties.
- Working closely with the Operations Administrator and Watchfinder service centre team to ensure that watches purchased are authenticated, tested and prepared for sale according to Watchfinder’s rigorous standards
- Speak with customers on the phone to assist with their enquiry. If the enquiry is related to an existing quote potential to negotiate this to secure the purchase when agreed by the Country Manager
- Handling customer complaints/objections where necessary

**Authentication**
- Creating Time-Service schedules
- Completing an initial evaluation on internal system (BO6)
- Conducting the inspection process of all potential and new Watchfinder stock
- Completing the Time Servicing Schedule based on the information gathered in a clear and concise form, ensuring that the correct terminology is used always:

- Completing an external evaluation of the aesthetics
- Taking a set of images for each watch
- Timing and water resistance check
- Removing case backs taking images of the movement and refitting the case backs
- Completing service report on TS (data entry and file uploading)
- Adding required jobs and parts to the TS.
- Making recommendations on what if any external parts need to be replaced.
- Contacting the UK inspection team for confirmation that the watch is genuine and no other work is recommended
- Completion of the second Buy Don’t Buy report
- Manage dashboards from sales team and stores for all the link and strap enquiries.
- Fitting and removal of straps and bracelet adjustments
- Checking watches back into the store are still in a condition that can be sold.
- Periodic health checks on watches to ensure they are still in a good enough condition to sell.
- Be responsible for all tools used making sure they are in a good condition and ordering more disposable tools when needed.

**Other Maison Part Exchange Partnership**
- Be the main point of contact for the Part Exchange Service
- Train & ensure after sale Service for the Maisons using the part exchange Service
- Build and deliver plan to increase use of the Part Exchange program

**Sales Operations**
- Occasionally when required, offering support to the sales team

**About you**
- Excellent communication skills and proven track record of managing different stakeholders and fast-moving businesses
- Self-starter and goal-oriented approach oriented.
- The ability to negotiate (ideally with a part exchange involved)
- Commercially astute, understand the principles of customer service, embedding our brand messages into every touch of the customer journey.
- Ability to take in technical information and follow instructions and directions precisely
- Vigilance - the ability to identify problems before they arise, which should be dealt with in a quick and professional manner and not to delay customers on updates
- Results driven and motivated
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise own workload.
- Able to follow process and procedures in a compliant way
