Company Description

MET International AG (METI) was established in 2010 in order to consolidate and develop MET Group’s international natural gas sales and purchase portfolio, as well as to establish a trading arm for commodity lines.

METI is responsible for providing highly competitive supply structures to its gas and power sales affiliates, optimizing its power generation assets, managing the LNG portfolio, and trading around international positions.

**Job Description**:

- Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop, negotiate, and execute physical and financial deals with wholesale and industrial energy market participants
- Develop, structure, and execute physical and financial deals with MET subsidiaries, supporting the local origination
- Expand flow business and improve the market access
- Actively gather and share all relevant market intelligence, stay abreast of market trends and regulatory changes
- Ensure and act as a vital link in the coordination among teams, namely Finance, Credit, Risk, Treasury, etc

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, Engineering, or similar
- At least three years of experience in Energy Markets, ideally with relevant experience in the Gas origination business with an excellent track record
- Knowledge of energy market dynamics, risk management best practices, and standard products
- Ideally solid network in one of the following markets: Germany, Spain, France, Italy
- Business fluency in German and English
