Gas Trading Analyst
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and provide insights based on a fundamental supply/demand model
  • Fundamental knowledge across European gas markets
  • Contribute gas analysis and insights to daily market meeting
  • Generate daily market analysis and trading recommendations for the trading desk, with a focus on proprietary trading
  • Ad-hoc gas market analysis based on requests of the trading desk
  • Focus on analysis of SEE markets including import/export into UA warehouse
  • Support valuation of deals with LNG and providing market research during deals assessments
  • Interaction with Data analysts and modelists to ensure continued development and improvement of the fundamental model

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering or other Technical / Mathematical subjects
  • 5 years of experience in analytics and/or commodities trading
  • Experience in a similar position would be an advantage
  • Proven knowledge of EU power and natural gas markets with focus on CESEE region
  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as Python, SQL, and Excel, as well as data visualization tools like PowerBI
  • Advanced/Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Multitasking and extremely organized work ethic
  • Quick learning and adaptability
  • Excellent Communication skills (International Company)
  • Problem-Solving Skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to work with a large amount of data
