The Department of Diabetes, Endocrinology, Nutritional Medicine and Metabolism is committed to per-forming high quality clinical research. Efficient clinical data management is a key component to clinical trial success.
The challenge
Design, develop and maintain data management processes to ensure integrity and confidentiality of collected data.
Responsible for all data management activities, from database setup to database lock
Responsible for the review of clinical data for accuracy and consistency
Contribution to the development of data management and statistical analysis plans
Extract clinical data from the study databases and electronic health records and produce standard and custom reports
Support researchers in data analyses
Provide technical oversight for integrating new initiatives into data standards and structures
**Profile**:
**Minimum**: B.Sc. degree in data science or similar discipline (University, ETH/EPFL, University of Applied Sciences)
Experience with major EDC platforms and reporting tools is a plus
Knowledge in data analysis and biostatistics
Programming skills (R, Python, Matlab)
Good organizational and analytical/problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English and ideally German
