Your role & responsibilities
As Head of Sales IND you will lead, develop and support the worldwide sales organization in order to accomplish the quantitavite and strategic targets. You will manage your team in a way that their identification with the company is strenghened and that they can perform independently and have sufficient freedom to develop creativity and innovation.
Your main tasks will be:
- Lead, develop and manage the regional sales managers as well as the business development team (4 FTIs direct, about 50 FTIs indirect reports)
- Responsible for pursuing and developing the global sales strategy and leading the next steps to implement regional and national sales programs.
- Shape the international sales organization needed to take revenue to the next level
- Monitor performance as a whole and by accounts to develop sales targets for the sales organization, review growth opportunities, enable sales improvements and take ownership of the IND business sales performance against targets
- Understand customer's need and decision chain, and articulate our value proposition to develop business opportunities within the different focus markets and Applications
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the Stäubli group and with key accounts
**Profile**:
- Higher education in engineering or business administration
- 7-10 years of relevant sales experience in an international B2B environment
- Extensive knowledge of sales principles and best practices, and ability to train and coach others in them
- Ability to collaborate closely with and influence teams and individuals from diverse cultures and experiences
- Strong leadership and team building skills with the proven ability to motivate cross-functional teams
- Very good in problem solving and issue-resolution in a deadline-driven work environment
- Good understanding of connecting systems and electromechanics
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to support assumptions, recommendations and actions
- Profound communication and negotiation skills in English and German, any other language is an advantage
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time
