**Project Manager 50% - Digitalization / Waterfall / Authority / Cantonal Administration / German**

**Project / Role**:
For our cantonal client, we are seeking a Project Manager (Reference No.: 924194OK).
The cantonal administration is driving digitalization forward in many areas. This process also promotes optimization potential and the creation of synergies. A cross-directorate analysis revealed that there is considerable optimization potential, but also a need, in the area of template management. In particular, the decentralized administration of the software and its lifecycle currently involves increased effort. In large sections of the user groups, the potential of template management is not fully utilized due to a lack of resources.
The previous template management product had been in use in various directorates for several years. It had reached the end of its service life and had to be replaced starting in mid-2024.
Therefore, the project was launched as a cantonal project and rolled out in two offices in January 2025. The implementation was under technical and time pressure, as additional directorates also had to be implemented and the implementation partner/project management had to carefully plan resources. User satisfaction with the usability of the maintenance and the inadequate implementation of certain requirements led to the launch of a follow-up project with the goal of more accurately estimating the effective further development in terms of cost, scope, and time required. The measures and findings developed in the follow-up project will be implemented at a later date.
The current project and its Phase 1 include various optimizations and measures that were not part of the previous tender or were submitted as residuals from the project.

- Analysis of open points and deficiencies
- Preparation of an action plan / requirements catalog for effective implementation
- Cost and resource planning / estimate
- Preparation of documents for the committee (date open)
