In this role you will be responsible for all soft services categories (janitorial and cleaning, security, food, reception etc.) and hard services (M&E, HVAC, fabrics, etc.). You will support MRO, Real Estate and site services' and you will be fully accountable for the spend and identify/deliver value based on category management excellence to manage ~150 MCHF annual spend.
You will drive category expertise through an in depth understanding of the markets and its players, required services and technologies, geographical spread, supply markets/ trends, cost drivers and the impact to Lonza’s business model.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead projects to improve quality of service, foster standardization, automation and innovation, implement projects globally according to the agreed sourcing strategy
- Drive annual cost savings in each assigned spend category and track savings programs in relevant financial and sourcing repositories
- Manage cross-functional international teams, achieve global targets, ensure the accurate scope and set the right priorities.
- Analyse and interpret requirements, spend information as well as future demand plans in the assigned spend categories to create and execute strategic category strategies
- Establish and manage KPIs dashboard together with the business stakeholders to monitor process performance, quality and customer satisfaction for driving continuous performance improvements globally, regionally and locally
Key requirements:
- University Degree B.Sc. Economics / SCM / Procurement or similar
- Experience with collaborative outsourcing
- Extensive experience within category management / Procurement within the pharma or life sciences industry or similar
- Fluency in English is required
- Acts and behaves as role model to leverage entire organization
- Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines
