Controller Fund Portfolios and Operations
Tasks
Control of classic investments (securities) in portfolio systems / Control of data feed from external asset managers and data providers (e.g. Bloomberg) as well as maintenance and quality of data / Control of master data of own funds, including data of third party fund investments / Process daily routine tasks with several teams in business and IT as well as external customers like e.g. banks, asset managers, data or service providers / Close cooperation with transaction specialist and the trading with a wide range of tasks with banks, asset managers, data or service providers / Control of external consultant projects in the middle office / Monitoring and control of data infrastructure and middle office processes of classic portfolio business / Close cooperation with transaction business with a wide range of tasks / Reporting of operational tasks to senior management / Ad-hoc projects.
**Requirements**:
Master’s or Bachelor’s in Business Administration or Accounting with flair for IT / Several years of relevant work experience in portfolio management of classic investments / Understand processes and tools in portfolio management or in the middle office of asset management / Knowledge of investment products e.g. equities, bonds, structured products, derivatives, funds, fund of funds, FX. etc. / Analytical and precise personality with good communication skills / Team player / Strong and interest for investment data, asset management software (e.g. Avaloq, SimCorp), server and IT processes in general / Strong interest in project management / Ability to under time pressure and tight deadlines / Skilled with MS-Excel and SQL / German as well as English.
