**Position Summary**:

As a Global Medical Affairs Lead Acute Care & Oncology you will be responsible to strategically partner within the medical and scientific community in the field of intensive care, surgery, renal disease and oncology to support innovation, advocate and educate in order to advance medical nutrition and clinical practices to make an impact on people’s health and well-being.

**A day in the life of Global Medical Affairs Lead**:

- Share within NHSc of relevant insights gathered to inform development and commercialization
- Lead the development and execution of high-quality medical education and professional events such as expert panels, advisory boards, symposia and webinars
- Assess need for additional evidence to meet patient and HCPs expectations
- Inform commercial strategy (which patient and which HCP to prioritize, which messages are more resonating, etc.) throughout product lifecycle to support adoption
- Sculpt the publication plan and ensure coordination of publications globally
- Ensure that the medical and scientific communication has the appropriate level and quality of scientific evidence, is meaningful to HCP’s and is patient centric.
- Engages with the affiliates to ensure successfully implementation of the designed strategies

**What will make you successful**:

- Professional medical degree, with strong preference for MD and/or PhD
- Experience from Medical and Scientific Affairs and direct patient clinical experience (preferably from ICU, internal medicine, surgery or oncology) for more than 8 years
- Ability in using scientific and clinical data in a creative and competitive way and simplifying complex concepts and data from R&D to platform and external stakeholders
- Market experience and/or experience of working in an international & multicultural environment
- Knowledge in medical / scientific writing and communication
- Excellent presentation and training skills
- Creative and open minded
- Fluent in English
