Our client is Geneva based very well-established International Financial Company.

To strengthen the Finance Team, they are looking for **a high potential Financial & Regulatory Reporting Accountant - A great opportunity to be part of a highly successful team **

**Missions**:
The objective of the role is to help super-charge the Reporting & Analytics function, driving efficiencies and increased data-driven decision-making for the firm. This is a great opportunity for someone who is excited about global financial markets, passionate about numbers & databases, and likes to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Regulatory reporting:

- Monitor capital and liquidity adequacy at all times
- Take ownership of financial regulatory returns ensuring that all returns are completed accurately, in a timely manner and in accordance with best practice
- Production of analysis

Statutory reporting:

- Produce quarterly consolidated financial statements as required within the structure on timetable and in accordance with best practice
- Support the external audit relationship on all operational matters
- Prepare entity level financial statements
- Ensure that year-end accounting records are complete prior to audit and provide any additional schedules/assistance to the auditors as agreed
- Ensure that all technical accounting issues arising are addressed in a timely manner and liaise with internal/external parties as appropriate (e.g. business units, actuaries)

Financial planning and project accounting:

- Provide technical accounting expertise for projects such as, but not limited to, office fit outs, lease accounting and revenue recognition.
- Financial statement analysis, ad hoc accounting schedules and analysis for business projects
- Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly budgets and forecasts
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities

**Profile**:

- **Previous 1st experience in a similar role**:

- Bachelor’s or Master's degree + a qualification in accounting or equivalent education
- Significant experience with Microsoft Excel and Oracle NetSuite
- Awareness of UK regulatory rules (IFPR) specifically concerning liquidity and capital adequacy.
- Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative, independence and adaptability
- Outstanding attention to detail and willing to take ownership for the quality of information prepared
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Ability to critically appraise processes and reports and identify improvements
- **Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (complete fluency or native speaker required)**:

- Works best in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- **Valid working permit for Switzerland**:

- Centrally located Geneva office with parking available
