**Description**:
We are looking for a Sustainability Accountant to manage and develop our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) accounting practices while ensuring compliance with sustainability reporting standards. This role will work closely with our offices in the UK and Guernsey to implement and maintain sustainable accounting practices across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain sustainability accounting frameworks and methodologies;
- Prepare sustainability reports and ESG disclosures in accordance with global reporting standards;
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and carbon accounting;
- Monitor and report on sustainability KPIs and metrics;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and validate sustainability data;
- Liaise with offices across the UK and Guernsey to ensure consistent sustainability accounting practices;
- Support the development of sustainability strategies and initiatives;
- Assist in preparing integrated reports combining financial and non-financial performance;
- Maintain knowledge of emerging sustainability accounting standards and ESG reporting requirements.

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field;
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent);
- Native or fluent English language skills (written and verbal);
- Experience in sustainability reporting and ESG frameworks;
- Strong understanding of carbon accounting and environmental impact assessment;
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multiple offices;
- Proficiency in sustainability accounting software and MS Office suite;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Excellent project management skills;
- Ability to translate complex sustainability data into actionable insights;
- Strong interpersonal skills for cross-office collaboration;
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards;
- Adaptability to evolving sustainability standards and requirements.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Additional certifications in sustainability (GRI, SASB, CDP)
- Experience working in multi-jurisdictional environments
- Knowledge of sustainability regulations in the UK and Channel Islands
- Previous experience in financial services sector
