Global Head of Constructions

The global head of constructions leads a team of site engineers in the Middle East and Switzerland and is in charge of the planning and execution of our "build" sector globally. S/he engages with contractors and stakeholders for the full cycle of the constructions (material, plans, electricity, etc). S/he is required to keep a building project within timescale and budget, setting the highest quality standards. S/he successfully manage sany delay or problems encountered on-site during a construction project. Managing quality control, health and safety checks and inspections are part of the job as well. The incument will also be involved before activities at the site take place. **Responsibilities** - Oversee and direct the activities of a range of contractors and subcontractors which may begin with site preparation and foundation work to the final stages of the construction project. - Manage timelines, which involves setting work schedules, contractor schedules and delivery dates for specific elements of ongoing construction projects by determining the order/sequence in which contractors work on a series of project. - Consult with clients and/or stakeholders, liaising with them throughout the entire life cycle of the project. - Ensure that necessary and relevant materials are available and ensuring all forms of delay by contractors due to conflicting project elements are prevented. - Ensure and maintain the safety of the job sites, which may involve setting and enforcing standards for each construction site and visiting construction sites frequently to ensure that contractors and crews strictly adhere to proper safety protocols. **Qualifications** BSc in Civil Engineering, Construction Management Continuous Education in the field Minimum of 5+ years of proven track record of success in managing industrial construction projects +3 years experience in the Middle East No restrictions to travel in Saudi, Morocco or Algeria Type d'emploi : Temps de travail : 90-100% Salaire : CHF91'139.62 à CHF170'972.09 par an Programmation: - Heures supplémentaires Capacité à faire le trajet ou à déménager: - 1005 Lausanne, VD: Faire le trajet sans problème ou prévoir un déménagement avant de prendre son poste (Exigé) Formation: - Baccalauréat universitaire (Exigé) Expérience: - Construction et rénovation: 5 ans (Exigé) - Middle East: 3 ans (Exigé) Langue: - Anglais (Exigé) Lieu du poste : Télétravail hybride (1005 Lausanne, VD)
