**Postdoctoral Position**
**80-100 % **:The University of Zurich (UZH) plays a prominent role in Open and Reproducible Science, both nationally and internationally. With the Center of Reproducible Science (CRS) UZH pursues the goal to improve the overall reproducibility of empirical scientific research and to promote original research in reproducibility studies and methodology related to reproducibility. The CRS is a joint competence center of the Faculties of Medicine, of Science, of Business, Economics and Informatics, of Arts and Social Sciences and, the Vetsuisse Faculty. It is housed at the Faculty of Medicine in the Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Prevention Institute.
- Excellent command of quantitative methods, ability to critically assess research results and knowledge how to achieve research quality
- Strong interest and expertise in reproducibility in the stages of empirical studies: design, conduct, analysis and dissemination
- Knowledge of meta-science methods is a plus
- Proven record of teaching at university level
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Excellent knowledge of the R environment for statistical computing and relevant extensions (R Markdown, knitr, shiny, etc), Additional expertise in Python and Jupyter Notebooks is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of English and excellent communication skills
