Occupational Health Nurse

The Occupational Health Professional will be responsible for optimizing the development and execution of Occupational Health & Wellbeing strategies for the local operating company, in the areas of Occupational Health, Health Promotion and Mental Wellbeing. Services are provided under the supervision of the local Global Health Services Team. The role includes the introduction of the electronic records management tool.
Key relationships
The OH Professional will work routinely with internal key stakeholders in the local operating company (eg Business Leaders, EHS, Human Resources) and with the Swiss GHS Operational Lead and EMEA GHS Team
**Key responsibilities**:
- Responsible for site level Occupational Health service delivery, achieving metrics and goals
- Drives health outcomes including reducing population health risks, managing and eliminating workplace health risks and supporting improved business outcomes through advancing employee health and wellbeing
- Support the site absence management process as appropriate and demonstrate expertise in country specific medical case management
- Manage the introduction of an Electronic Records Management system to the site and rollout across Switzerland
- Responsible for co-developing and delivering the site health promotion program aligned with the Swiss Team on the most important lifestyle health risks
- Understand regulatory compliance, the global company occupational health standards and is knowledgeable of the applicable country/canton health related legislation
- Acts as medical resource to other site professionals and management for information, problem solving, and decision making related to OH related issues
- Maintain scientific, regulatory and business knowledge appropriate to the nursing profession and specialty.
- Collaborate with regional Occupational Health team
Pandemic Crisis Management: Ensure employee health protection and business continuity while adhering to global and local crisis management processes, return to work processes, and COVID-19 testing and vaccination programs.

Wichtige Beziehungen
Die Fachkraft für Arbeitsmedizin arbeitet routinemäßig mit den wichtigsten internen Interessengruppen im lokalen Unternehmen (z. B. Business Leaders, EHS&S, Human Resources) sowie mit dem Swiss GHS Operational Lead und dem EMEA GHS Team zusammen.
**Hauptaufgaben**:
- Verantwortlich für die Erbringung von arbeitsmedizinischen Dienstleistungen auf Standortebene, Erreichen von Kennzahlen und Zielen
- Förderung von Gesundheitsergebnissen, einschließlich der Reduzierung von Gesundheitsrisiken für die Allgemeinheit, Management und Beseitigung von Gesundheitsrisiken am Arbeitsplatz und Unterstützung verbesserter Geschäftsergebnisse durch Förderung von Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden der Mitarbeitenden
- Unterstützung des Abwesenheitsmanagementprozesses am Standort und Vermittlung von Fachwissen im länderspezifischen medizinischen Fallmanagement
- Organisation der Einführung eines elektronischen Aktenmanagementsystems am Standort und der Einführung an allen Standorten in der Schweiz
- Verantwortlich für die Mitentwicklung und Durchführung der Gesundheitsförderungsprogramme am Standort in Abstimmung mit dem Schweizer Team zu den wichtigsten Gesundheitsrisiken im Hinblick auf den Lebensstil
- Verständnis für die Einhaltung gesetzlicher Vorschriften, der globalen betrieblichen Standards für den Arbeitsmedizinischen Dienst und Kenntnis der in den einzelnen Ländern/Kantonen geltenden gesundheitsbezogenen Vorschriften
- agiert als medizinische Ressource für andere Fachkräfte am Standort und das Management, um Informationen zu liefern, Probleme zu lösen und Entscheidungen in Bezug auf arbeitsmedizinische Fragen zu treffen
- Aufrechterhaltung von wissenschaftlichen, rechtlichen und wirtschaftlichen Kenntnissen, in Bezug auf das Fachgebiet und den arbeitsmedizinischen Bereich
- Zusammenarbeit mit dem regionalen arbeitsmedizinischen Team
- Pandemie-Krisenmanagement: Sicherstellung des Gesundheitsschutzes der Mitarbeitenden und der Geschäftskontinuität unter Einhaltung der globalen und lokalen Krisenmanagementprozesse, der Prozesse zur Wiederaufnahme der Arbeit und der COVID-19-Tests und -Impfprogramme.
**Qualifications**:
- Education: Degree in Nursing
