**The opportunity**

Join our Product Evaluation and Qualification team at Hitachi Energy Semiconductors and help us ensure the performance of our semiconductor chips and power modules. You’ll work on cutting-edge projects in a global environment, contributing to technologies that power renewable energy, traction, and E-mobility. This internship of 6 - 12 months offers hands-on experience in advanced test system design and the chance to grow alongside experienced engineers.

**How you’ll make an impact**
- Contribute to the design of test systems for semiconductor reliability and electrical measurements
- Implement test systems using appropriate hardware and software components
- Ensure accurate measurement of required values during testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in test systems
- Document design, implementation, and test results clearly and thoroughly
- Collaborate closely with the team to meet project goals
- Present your results and demonstrate system functionality to the team

**Your background**
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of circuit design and programming (C, C++, or Python)
- Familiar with test equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Basic knowledge of semiconductor testing and characterization
- Creative problem-solver with an independent and proactive mindset paired with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
