Global Division Operations Manager

**Your role and responsibilities**:
Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will report to the Process Excellence Manager Business Line Grid Components, belonging to the Electrification Distribution Solutions (ELDS) Division. You will have the opportunity to coordinate local procurement teams and to execute purchasing strategies that support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products. Each day, you will ensure execution in accordance with company and Procurement team instructions and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by implementing effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements. The work model for the role is: hybrid Preferred location: TBD, Global You will be mainly accountable for: - Contributing to the definition, implementation, and execution of global organization spend management and sourcing strategies for direct material and services in line with business line strategy. -Determines annual targets and scorecards, together with the business line Managers, for cost reduction, supplier quality, and supplier delivery performance (On-Time Delivery (OTD)), etc. -Ensuring relevant parties understand strategies and execute processes accordingly and ensuring alignment between local procurement activities and business line strategy. -Indemnifies continuously optimized sourcing processes and the selection of competitive suppliers. -Developing and implementing cost, productivity, quality, delivery, and inventory improvement plans in line with global organization strategies. -Managing planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, and savings forecasts. -Ensuring transparency in spending and implementing a data-driven decision-making process. -Ensures the execution of supplier audits and monitors audit reports as well as improvement activities based on audit conclusions and recommendations. Work model Hybrid Location Global (EU preferred)

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Experience managing procurement operations in a B2B manufacturing company working across multiple regions, including dealing with diverse regulatory environments, geopolitical risks, and currency fluctuations.
- Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and negotiating large-scale contracts.
- Strong skills in cost management, budgeting, and financial analysis to optimize procurement spending.
- Ability to use data analytics to optimize procurement processes and drive strategic sourcing decisions.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional and international teams, driving performance and collaboration.
- Ability to lead change initiatives, such as process improvements and cost-saving programs.
- Identifying and mitigating risks in the procurement process, such as supply chain disruptions or vendor non-compliance.
