**Position summary**
Located in the centre of Zug (Switzerland) our Company is focused on the trading of raw materials (mainly coal). To complete our team, we are looking for a **Deputy CFO**, with several years of experience in a similar position, taking care of the following tasks:
**Your main responsibilities**:
- Help to drive the strategic direction of the company's financial operations;
- Provide direct support and guidance in the development and implementation of the company's financial objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards, to ensure fiscal accountability;
- Manage the financial operations of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Oversee the financial reporting and analysis process, ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of financial data.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing guidance and recommendations to senior-level management.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports and analysis to assess the financial performance of the organization and provide guidance for decision-making.
- Manage the budgeting process, ensure compliance with internal controls, and coordinate financial audits.
- Lead the development of short
- and long-term financial plans and forecasts.
- Monitor the development and implementation of accounting systems and controls to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Review and approve monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Develop and oversee tax strategies and plans to ensure compliance with local, state and federal tax regulations.
- Maintain relationships with external auditors, bankers and other financial institutions.
- Advise on investments, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial transactions.
**What makes you successful**:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field with strong accounting and finance background, and deep understanding of financial strategy and accounting standards;
- Several years of experience in financial management within a commodity trading company;
- Proven track record in financial planning and analysis
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with financial software and systems
- Strong analytical skills;
- German and English : fluent (written and spoken);
- The knowledge of Russian language is a plus;
- Soft Skills:
- Good team spirit, and a great ability to communicate;
- Flexibility;
- Care and precision, rigour and strong attention to detail;
- Ability to prioritize and multitask;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of IT programs and ERP system (knowledge of Business Central (NAV) is a plus).
