Technical & Maintenance Smt (M/F)

SCHURTER Group, a worldwide leading company as innovator and producer of passive and active electronic components is looking for a Technical & Maintenance SMT (M/F) in order to empower and increase the development of the organization in Mendrisio.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain production and quality performance of the SMT line
- Study and implement lean manufacturing actions
- Technically follow up sampling and prototyping (drafting sampling reports)
- Technical support in the SMT area also of foreign sites
- Train SMT staff to increase the department's skills
- Technical support for the installation of new machines in the group
- Supervision of department budgets

Your qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years or more related experience or a related 2-year technical degree.
- Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor’s or Master’s, may substitute for two years of related experience.
- Experience with SMT equipment
- Many years' experience on SMT lines (Yamaha is an advantage)
- Experience in the use of automatic cabinets
- Knowledge of IPC processes and standards
- Must be able to communicate (both written and verbally) in English instructions
- Good MS Office knowledge
- Problem solving orientation
