Maintenance Technician

SCHURTER Group, a worldwide leading company as innovator and producer of passive and active electronic components is looking for a Maintenance Technician (w/m) in order to empower and increase the development of the organization in Mendrisio.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Drive the development, continous improvement and maintenance of SCHURTER production and control processes over their complete lifecycle
- Ensure health and safety policies are comply with the norms, the regulations and the internal processes
- Monitor equipment and tools inventory and place orders when necessary
- Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance and spare parts
- Lead technical discussion with contractors and service providers
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
- Provide technical support to EMC production
- Supervise a technical team

**Your qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master degree in an Engineering field or 5 year experience in a similar function
- Technical knowledge/training in mechanics
- Good knowledge of the existing production processes and technologies
- Able to coordinate activities
- Able to describe precisely processes, technical issues and their solutions
- Able to understand the logístical and financial impact of processes and production flows
- Fluent in Italian and English, German is a plus
