As the Director Finance you will be responsible for acting as the finance business partner to the VP Flight Services and VP Regional FBO Operations and their leadership teams. You will effectively and efficiently manage, administrate and support the operations in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis and be the central point of contact for all financial transactions related to the daily business. You will manage financial planning and in particular cash flow management for a growing fleet of managed aircraft. As the Director Finance, you will be collaborating closely with operations, as well as matrixed support functions overseeing the financial strategy and financial processes.
- Description/Tasks:

- Performs a variety of financial activities, including reporting, accounting, financial analysis, audit, tax, credit control and collections.
- Manages the finance team (13 employees)
- Looks for ways to automate and improve finance processes to increase efficiency
- Responsible for accurate customer statements
- Drives working capital management
- Is accessible for conversations with C level employees of the customer
- Finds ways to accommodate the customers financial reporting needs
- Develops and evaluates financial plans and policies in accordance with global finance processes
- Maintains accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls
- Drives a culture of trust, honesty, alignment, transparency and performance throughout the region in line with JET VALUES
- Ensures the execution of internal & external audits as well as the process standardization, development, update and maintenance of Jet Aviation finance policies & procedures
- Drives a culture of trust, honesty, alignment, transparency and performance
- Ensures that strong successors are in place and develops regional Jet Aviation talents
- Ensures compliance with GD/Jet Aviation financial policies, applicable laws and regulations
- Conducts business ethically according to GD Blue Book regulations, and applicable GD and Jet Aviation policies
- Qualification/Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or equivalent from an accredited university
- Strong track-record/at least 7-10 years of financial business partnering
- Comprehensive understanding of FP&A and Controlling and their broader implications
- Strong internal and external commercial awareness
- Comprehensive business aviation industry knowledge
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing mixed level finance team(s) of professionals
- Proven track record of setting standards & guidelines in a finance function
- Very strong communication skills for strong interactions with internal and external stakeholders
- Result driven and able to execute with high personal accountability
- Excellent Stakeholder Management - strong exposure and ability to work with multiple stakeholders and varied mixed level positions
