We have U.S. offices in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Raleigh, with small satellites in other parts of the country. We also have international offices in Montreal, Canada, and Zurich, Switzerland, and are expanding across Europe.
**Who You Are**
You are part of the People Team and play a critical role in enabling BridgeBio to achieve its mission. We empower BridgeBio people and teams to do their best work by attracting, engaging, and developing amazing team members. The People Operations Manager will support the People Team and Employees across a broad range of activities, from the onboarding, the payroll, and the benefits management to the general HR administration management predominantly in our 5 key markets: France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide oversight and management of HR service delivery, systems, and processes. This involves delivering high-quality services to employees within the areas of employee data management, compensation & benefits administration (including payroll), HR systems and technology, and HR reporting & analytics. This hands-on role requires attention to detail and agility to perform in a fast-growing environment.
**HR Administration**:
- Manage HR Operations, including the appropriate processes for new joiners, movers and leavers.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with our organization’s objectives and growth.
- Prepare all Employee Life Cycle documents (offers, addendums, etc.) in compliance with local labor law and practice.
- Maintain and manage employee records and files.
- Ensure efficient on and off-boarding activities.
- Oversee work permit requests for UE and non-UE employees to ensure compliance and liaise with local authorities when needed (review the requests and regular follow-up).
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the staff handbook and related documents.
- Effectively respond to employee inquiries and requests and drive issue resolution while upholding exceptional customer service standards.
**HRIS and HR systems**:
- Responsible for maintaining and managing the HRIS and related systems, ensuring that they are up-to-date and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations and used effectively to track employee data and manage HR processes.
- Oversee the development and enhancement of HR technology platforms (e.g., ADP or Workday) to optimize system capabilities and improve overall HR processes. Manage employee-related data, information, and reporting requirements.
**Payroll**:
- Contribute to the execution of our payroll process (controlling wages, performing the monthly payment reconciliation, executing the payroll data transfer) in collaboration with our payroll external partner and Finance.
- Handle operational responsibilities of social security, pension fund and tax at source data, including monthly and yearly statements and reports.
**Benefits**:
- Support for the management of any audits of HR Operations processes for Switzerland, including internal audits, external audits, and social security inspections.
- Continuously collaborate with the Global HR team to improve processes and governance.
- Proactively forecast and monitor operational performance and metrics within the HR function, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate actions to drive a positive outcome.
