Who we are looking for

You are an Assistant Portfolio Manager with experience in asset management preferably in front, middle or back-office function or credit analysis. You are rigorous, detailed oriented, enthusiastic, anger to learn about our investment process and be involved in the impact investing industry. You have a strong interest in finance and a good understanding of emerging markets dynamics acquired through professional and personal experience. You will work closely with all areas of investment, to assist within the investment process from investment idea generation, deal execution to portfolio accounting. This exciting position offers opportunity to progress into a higher role.

The position is based in our Head office in Geneva, with reporting line to the Head of Portfolio Management.

About the Job
**Portfolio construction**: Support the main Portfolio Managers in identifying, analyzing and selecting investment opportunities
**Investment Committee**: Organize the Investment Committees (“IC”), prepare the IC package, including notably draft minutes and compliance check, implement the IC decision in the system
**Liquidity management**: support the Portfolio Managers in the planning of cash inflows and outflows and the management of cash accounts and excess cash through money market investments
**Investment process**: Liaise with the Funds’ external services providers and internal Forex and Structuring teams for the closing, disbursement and currency hedging of each transaction; coordinate and oversee trade tickets and disbursement process initiated by Investments and Structuring
**Risk management**: Ensure investment compliance with covenants and policies pre
- and post-disbursement; monitor the work-out cases
**Payments**: Liaise with the internal servicing and work-out units on investment payments and hedge payments
**Accounting**: First level validation of NAV calculations and support for annual closings and audits
Liaise with Portfolio Manager/ IT team on IT developments of the portfolio management system
**Risk management**: monitor the documentation of Investment Documents
**Reporting**: support/production of factsheets and customized reporting for clients
**Meeting**: support/production of the quarterly and annual fund presentations and participate in client meetings if deemed necessary

Your Qualification

We are looking for a dynamic, detailed oriented and curious associate who will handle rapidly key responsibilities in our investment flows and is willing to learn about our investment approach by participating to Investment Committees, portfolio construction and client meeting.

More specifically, you have the following skills and competencies:
Master’s degree in economics/ finance or equivalent qualification/work experience
First experience in asset management, private banking or impact investing
Good understanding of accounting principles and trading workflow
You enjoy collaborating with others to reach common goals
You are comfortable to work in an international and multi-cultural workplace
You have an interest in impact finance and/or sustainable development
You are able to work comfortably in both English and French. Other languages such as Spanish would be a plus
Swiss/EU National or valid Swiss Work Permit is required
