**About the role**

Sygnum is establishing a central Data Analytics team in the CEO Office to drive business insights, operational efficiencies, and strategic decision-making across the group.

As Head Data Analytics, reporting into our chief of Staff, you will:

- Drive the formulation and execution of Sygnum’s Data Analytics strategy in collaboration with relevant stakeholders (e.g., Group Strategy, Data Strategy, Data Protection, IT Security, business functions) and in alignment with business objectives
- Lead the development of data analytics and data engineering capabilities, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
- Lead and manage the Data Analytics team, consisting of a Junior Data Analyst (100%) and a Data Engineer (50%)
- Oversee and manage the design, build, and maintenance of our analytics platform and data infrastructure
- Guide the development and implementation of group-wide BI solutions, including automated reporting and dashboards, state-of-the-art management information system supporting data-driven strategic business decisions and self-service analytics tools for business users
- Foster collaboration across business, control and IT functions to ensure data analytics is effectively provided to the entire group based on business needs and in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Support the creation of a data-driven culture within the organization, promoting the importance of data analytics in decision-making
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced data analytics, business intelligence and data management
- Demonstrated experience in leading data analytics teams and projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong conceptual and strategic skills as well as business acumen
- In-depth knowledge in advanced analytics, data visualization and predictive modeling
- Deep understanding of technology, infrastructure, operations, and business processes required to operate an efficient and effective data analytics platform
- Proven knowledge working with data platforms, cloud technologies and analytics tools of the Microsoft Data Analytics stack (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Power BI) and preferably also AWS
- Understanding the challenges of decentralized data architecture and the regulatory requirements for handling critical data
- Proven experience in leading and scaling data teams with the ability to lead and inspire a team
- Excellent project and product management skills
- Experience with AI and machine learning is a plus
