Join our team as the Deployment and Business Readiness Manager (Europe) and play a pivotal role in driving the successful deployment, onboarding, and adoption of our cutting-edge ACE digital products across European markets. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Customer Care, to ensure seamless business operations. Your expertise in global support processes, training material creation, and stakeholder communication will be key in advancing our digital presence while maintaining high-quality standards and effective collaboration.
About Digital Lighthouse: Our Digital Lighthouse team is devoted to the advancement of digitalization, enhancing customer experiences, and achieving the pinnacle of Advanced Customer Experience (ACE). The team's mandate is to identify and globally implement various digital tools within Alcon, particularly in customer-facing areas such as order management, inventory, and sales rep visibility. As our digital toolkit expands we need a dedicated Deployment and Business Readiness Manager for Europe based in Fribourg, Switzerland.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Services, GSC, and Customer Care to deploy digital tools that address business needs and ensure successful onboarding and adoption
- Deploy and manage critical global digital tool support process of Change Management, Customer Care, KPIs, reporting and Onboarding/Adoption
- Document valuable Lessons Learned from deployments
- Co-develop training materials, communications, dashboard content, reporting, and product playbook content in collaboration with the product team
- Work cross-functionally to comprehensively address business stakeholders’ needs
- Create and contribute to stakeholder-facing status reports and dashboards
- Uphold quality requirements throughout deliverable production
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Continuously improve communications through feedback capture, performance assessment, and retrospective sessions
- Collaborate with peers to recommend and design process changes for enhanced product adoption
- Maintain regular, close engagement with all stakeholders
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Degree in Economics, Engineering or related field
- Proficient in English communication, additional languages a plus
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience of Direct Commercial Operations
- Extensive project management experience, particularly in digital and large-scaled projects; deployment experience advantageous
- Proficient in change management, communication, and training, including documentation creation
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to draw meaningful conclusions
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems on a large scale, SFDC/Tableau/testing environments a plus
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to travel (25% to 50%) to Alcon sites across Europe
- Capable of delivering impactful presentations
