Product Manager Performance Outdoor

At a Glance:
The world’s fastest-growing sports brand is seeking a Product Manager Performance Outdoor. Based in Zurich, yet frequently visiting our globally spread team and key retail partners, the role will work on the creation of our outdoor footwear product line to ensure products are relevant to customers, to retailers, and to the company.

Your Team:
As the Product Management team, we’re responsible for managing product creation to facilitating go to market efforts; concept to consumer. Our cross functional interaction is driven by a consumer-focused mindset to ensure we create a product line that sells in and through.

Your Mission:

- At the intersection of product design and development to co-create an industry-leading performance outdoor footwear range (Trail Running/Hiking/Trekking), you are responsible working with your team to validate and input critical cross functional product data
- Support the Product creation team in gathering all data and future trends to initiate the seasonal kick-off supported by design and Innovation (aligned with On’s message)
- Work on the co-creation of clear and relevant briefs (products, materials, colours)
- Align with Development to track costing and utilize your organization skills to stay on top of sample tracking and coordination
- Ensure full alignment with the Go To Market (GTM) plan by partnering with our Developers, Design, Sales & Marketing teams and participating to major presentations, milestones and launches
- Increase our industry knowledge/trends by attending trade shows, retails stores, market visits and partner with our internal teams on consumer insights (non-Covid times)
- Communicate closely with outdoor and running communities (customers and retailers in key markets) to ensure a customer-centric range

Your Story:

- 3+ years of experience in product management in a global sports brand environment with a proven record of creating and successfully launching industry leading products
- A higher education degree in Marketing, Product Management or any other related field
- Great understanding of the global outdoor / trail running market and its opportunities
- Passion for challenging the status quo and reshaping the outdoor industry
- Strength in managing projects, strong organizational skills & ability to manage complex projects whilst sticking to critical timelines and deadlines
- Strong communication and team-working skills, dedicated to over-delivering (y)our promise and a sense of WOW.
- Ambition to work in an environment that requires to be excellent in both analytics as well as creative and innovative thinking
- Customer-first mindset. Great network-building skills and ability to connect effectively with a diverse team of peers and stakeholders
- Willingness to travel (non-covid times)
- You are fully fluent in English (written and spoken)
