**Europe Region Project Operations Manager**:

Regional management of all project execution activities in the area of responsibility. Ensure operations are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. Co-ordinate and oversee team development and standardized process development to continually im-prove effectiveness of project execution teams.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that the regional portfolio of projects is managed consistently, based on best practices and ABB Policies
- Leading and overseeing the project execution teams locally/regionally, ensuring that ABB Policies are consistently followed
- Developing, customizing and continuously improving standard processes and work instructions by adopting ABB and external best practices
- Ensuring that lessons learned from project execution are analyzed and conclusions are incorporated in continuous improvement actions
- Participating in the budgeting process, jointly with Local Division/Business Unit Manager and Controller; in Sales and Operations planning with other members of the Local Division/Business Unit/Product Group management team, and taking actions to close potential gaps in project execution capacity
- Supervising project execution and performance management through project reviews with management and Project Managers to ensure contract fulfilment, and approving any project deviations
- Ensuring the portfolio of projects follows good methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures, and projects are closed as per contracts entered with customers
- Taking an active role in resolving escalated issues, especially those raised by the customer

**Your background**:

- 10+ years team leadership and development experience
- Very strong English (other European languages a plus)
- 5+ years leadership experience of project management office organizations
- Domain know-how from Pulp&Paper Industry in area of control and electrification projects and systems
