**Your Mission**
Our Head of HR, DACH Region is a role for a strong, independent thinker. You will need both a thick skin and the conviction to follow through on best practice. The job will never be dull however, with no two days being the same.
As a strategic thinker, you will be able to develop and implement HR policies and initiatives that balance best practices with commercial pressures, ensuring that the organization remains competitive and attractive to top talent.
You will build strong relationships at all levels, and use your strong influencing skills to gain buy-in from senior management for HR strategies and initiatives, and drive change across the organization.
This role is an exciting opportunity that offers the chance to make a real impact on the organization and its employees, and to lead HR Operations and recruitment efforts for your region.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
As a Head of HR EMEA Region, your mission is to add value to our business by:
- Delivering a world class HR Service for your region with the support of your team, currently consisting of a Talent Acquisition Manager and HR Operations manager
- Acting as a true partner to senior leaders and working hand in hand with your regional counterparts in North America and India
- Collaborating with and coaching managers to resolve everyday issues across a variety of legal frameworks
- Developing people strategies and solutions designed to increase organisational performance - across a wide range of key areas, including leadership, talent development, performance management, and wellbeing
- Run the People Engagement Committee for EMEA
- At a time of potential growth with bids and acquisitions, this role will lead around all elements in the EMEA region.
**Your Experience & Skills**
- At least 10 years of relevant experience either as a Head of HR, Senior HR Business partner or similar, preferably in the technology industry
- Solid knowledge of employment law and best practices in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK
- Experience of working in an international envrionment and as part of a global team
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards at all times
- Previous team management and leadership experience of remote team members
- Able to handle a high volume of work, prioritize tasks and deadlines, and delegate them when appropriate
- Quick on their feet to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees
- Excellent negotiation skills and an expert in people-change management
- Experience with Human Resources operations including payroll
- Immaculate presentation skills, fluent in both business english and german
